How to Sell Your Beaded Jewelry

Do you create some fabulously beautiful beaded items and are thinking about selling some of them? Before you start, you are going to have to research the best places to sell your product. Every area of your city, state, or even country seems to like different things. One place may turn their noses up at beads while you can’t keep up with the demand in another area. There are places like the latter to be found.

Craft fairs, church bazaars, and swap meets in an upscale area are all excellent places to check out the bead culture. If possible, talk to some people who have sold things at these places and see what kind of luck they had. They may also have a feel for what people at these functions are willing to spend. All of this is good information to have now, and should be filed away for the future.

Selling your merchandise online seems to be the most popular way of bringing your merchandise before large groups of people. Make sure you target the people you most want to sell to with your merchandise and prices. For example, you aren’t going to sell an expensive beaded jewelry item to a struggling student.

Next, take some attractive pictures of your items to be posted on your sale site, and build your website around the photos. Start on a small scale and see if it is really what you want to do before you start to sell several different items. Also, be sure and figure in the cost of the website, shipping and handling into the price you are asking for your jewelry.
