Square dancing has been around for ever, they use to get together on weekends and have neighbor come over,dance, have a good old times. That was one way people back in the 17th century would socialize or get to see each other. Square dancing was the main dance in those days but as we came into the next century they started finding other ways to get together and learn different dances. Square dancing has come full circle where it faded and now it again is one of the most popular dance these day.
