Sewing with leather

You can sew with a regular sewing machine needle to sew leather but it does make it more diffucult to do because it causes your thread to break more or your machine might skip a sitch. When sewing with leather it is best to use wider sitches and heavier thread, you may need to adjust the tension. If you are putting an appliquse on your leather it make it easier if you used scotch tape as it keeps them more together. Did you know if you use baby power on your leather it let is slide easier.
