Blankets

Knitting is something that takes two large needles, it takes a little more concentration then crochet. When crochet you will only need one hook and you can whose what size the bigger the size the bigger the holes when making the pattern that is also true with knitting. When knitting you can make about anything, there are things you can knit on your own. Have you ever made a blanket with your favorite animal on it. You need to decide what size you want, get the yarn for it. You need different colors for your animal, you can put it in the middle or put one at each corner of your blanket. You know you can make the blanket itself in the shape of a animal, something simple would be like a bear to start with that way you can see how its done.

When making the blanket you have some choices here that you can do, you can either make the animal within the blanket or you can make the blanket and then make the animal, when done with that you can sew the animal onto the blanket with weaving some yarn through the blanket and the animal. Some of the other things you can do is make several small animals and attach them to the corners of the blanket.  Either way it will look very nice. You can also go online or in crafts magazine and get a pattern with all the stuff needed and order it that way then you don't have to guess how much yard you need, because it comes with the pattern
