Candy Cane cover

Materials:
Size 10 thread designer used cranberry in Sample 1 and ecru in Sample 2
Hook 1.75 mm
10 feet of bead garland
Needle to weave in ends.
The garland I used came in 20 foot lengths. cut in half


Stitches:
Triple  Crochet : (tr) yo hook twice; insert hook in st indicated,
YO and pull up a loop, (YO and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times.

Instructions:
Rnd 1: (mark this side as RS) Work around the garland in spaces between
the beads.Join thread to garland with sl st between first 2 beads; (ch 3,
sc in space between next 2 beads). Repeat from  across to space between
last 2 beads; sc in space, ch 6; (work this ch-6 behind the bead)
Working on opposite side of beads sc to the left of the sc made in the first
space; (ch 3, sc in space between next 2 beads)
Repeat from across to space between last 2 beads; sc in space , ch 2,
work tr into the first sc to form the last ch-6 sp.
Rnd 2: work (3 tr, ch 3, 3 tr) in first ch-3 loop, sc in next ch-3 loop;  work
(3 tr, ch 3, 3 tr) in next ch-3 loop, sc in next ch-3 loop; repeat from  across
first side. Fasten off.
Using needle weave in ends
