Making a Apron

There are many things that can be made easy by sewing, some of the things are like apron, chef's apron. You can make apron's many different ways, lets try to make the easiest one. How about a dishtowel apron. So what we will need to do is get an old dishtowel out. What we will need to do now is after getting the dishtowel we will need to cut the corners off, then we will fold those corners over so we have a hem in it, but there will also be a place where we can take a piece of either rope or what is called heavy thread and thread it through the bottom of one of the hems we made and up through the top leaving enough thread so you can put a young child's head through it and then back down through the other side. Make sure you have left enough of the thread or rope so you can tie it around the back of the child to hold it on.  When you are done, you can put a little picture of an animal on the front by cutting something out and then sewing it to the front of the apron or you can put  the persons name on it. When you have all that done you can give it for a girls birthday or just any occasion.  You can make several of them ahead so you do not have to hurry and get one made, they also can be at a yard sale.If you do make them a head you do not need to but any design on it or name until they next birthday oroccasion you are using it for, but they will be ready to do.
