Pumpkin

These are the things you are going to need to make this pumpkin; A Gallon Glass Jug (Wine Vinegar Jug), get some Orange and Black Paint (acrylic enamel or glass paint), you need a Set of 35 Mini Lights, some Raffia, ( you can find this is any place they sell crafts usually) and a Sea Sponge also a craft store.
Okay here we go lets make a pumpkin. Begin by painting your jug with a sea sponge, gently patting on orange paint over the entire outside area of the jar. A regular sponge will work but the effect will not be as nice when the jar is lit up. Allow the paint to dry and follow paint manufacturer instructions if heat setting the paint is required. Once the paint is completely dry, paint a face with black paint; you can look at other pumpkin face designs for inspiration. To add a little extra to your design, paint fine lines with black paint around the jar. Tie raffia around the neck of the jar and insert mini lights after all the paint is dry and light up. You can let your kids help with this one, but you need to watch them with the paint. You are going to really like this pumpkin and it is so cute when you light it up. You can set these on your porch on Halloween with out worrying about putting a candle inside it.
