Henry David Sleeper

Henry David Sleeper was born to Jacob Henry Sleeper and maria Sleeper, her had two other brothers. His father was in the Civil War and his grandfather was founder of Boston University. His mother taught him at home because he always seem to be sick. They said he had studied architecture but there is nothing to support it. Then in early august 1907 Henry Sleeper bought some land and started building on it each year he would build  a little more to it. They had hiding areas in there an everything. The mother would go from one room to. They kind of done this as a game to people that were staying at the home they would have to go into one room and come back out another. This keep happening until his mother died. As the years went  on people would come to visit and he would have parties to entertain people with  he also had many surprises for them also. After world war 1 Sleeper became interested in interior design, he had many office he took care of after, he even did some reconstruction of the Church of Our Lady of Good voyage in Gloucester. He served on many committee's after he had messed with wars. All an all Henry David Sleeper had a pretty good life. He was a great collector of many differentAmerican and European objects. He never really married but he did have his share of lady friends that he would bring to the parties and all.
