Did you know that aerobics is good for your body if you are having trouble with your joints, or maybe you haven’t exercised in some time. It is also good if you have some extra weight to loose, but you are too out of shape to go to the gym. There is nothing to be ashamed of if you are over weight. Swimming puts a lot less strain on your joints and muscles, and it is a lot of fun. You will learn how hard and fast you need to go, and how long you should exercise. There are so many benefits to swimming for exercise. You don’t have to exercise as hard as you do on land because in the water you have more resistance, but believe me your body is getting the same kinds of excising.
If you have back problems or any other problems you will need to do the exercises with less intensity, you will learn to pace yourself, and as you start getting stronger you can speed up and do more. In a 30 minute exercise group you can burn like 300 calories. You will also feel so much better than you did before you started the class. So if you do have problems or over weight then it is best to do your exercise in the water as it does not hurt as much. You also get the enjoyment of meeting new people and when you do not get out much it is nice to have them and usually everyone in the exercise class is in the same boat.
