Tuberculous

In the early years is was called consumption and then lungers, it seem that one of the characterise of the disease was that the fluid that it had in the body. Back then they did not really have much of a cure for it as it started and they tried every thing for in they even offered snake oils for some relief but as you could see it did not really seem to work. They finely got a place to take those people with the disease so they could control the treatment, they thought that being out in the open like in a farm type sitting so the had the clean air and all would help so they built the first center in Virginia.It was a very easy disease to caught, they always said if you have it or someone else has it to stay away from people and do not cough or spit into a handkerchief as that would carry the disease for a long time. The main places you could get it was not from inheritance but from the spit, bowel discharge and pus form any abscesses on the body. With the limited knowledge they had back in the days that thought you would die from it but in fact if caught in the early part of it, it could be cured.
